Splash2You ("we," "us," "our") is an independent, at-home swim instruction service owned and operated by Vlad Doty, serving Estero, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, and Naples, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through splash2you.com, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
Information We Collect
We only ask for what we need to respond to you, schedule a lesson, or process a payment. Depending on which form you use, that may include:
- Contact details: name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
- Service details: the address where lessons will take place, your swimmer's age group, and any notes you choose to share about your swimmer or pool.
- Scheduling and payment information: handled directly by Calendly (for booking) and Stripe (for package purchases) — see Third Parties below.
- Survey responses: our optional customer feedback survey, which you can skip or leave partially blank.
We do not ask children to submit information directly. Forms on this site are intended to be filled out by a parent or guardian on behalf of their swimmer.
How We Collect It
This site does not run its own server or database. When you submit the contact, invoice-request, or survey form, your browser opens a pre-filled email addressed to us — you send it the same way you'd send any other email. If you sign in to unlock the booking calendar, your name, email, and phone are saved in your own browser's local storage (so the site can recognize you on that same device next time) and are also logged directly to a private Google Form/Sheet we use to keep track of sign-ins. That log is only used to follow up about booking and is not shared with anyone else.
How We Use It
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule lessons, and send invoices.
- To remember you on your own device so you don't have to re-enter your info to view the booking calendar.
- To improve our service, based on optional survey feedback.
- To measure how people find and use the site (see the Cookie Policy below).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything beyond running and improving Splash2You.
Third Parties We Use
- Calendly — powers our online booking calendar. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — processes payments for lesson packages. Stripe is PCI-compliant; we never see or store your full card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Forms/Sheets — when you sign in to unlock the booking calendar, your name, email, and phone are logged to a private Google Sheet only we can access, so we have a record of who's signed in without it being emailed to us individually. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) — helps us understand site traffic and measure whether our advertising is working. This only runs if you accept analytics cookies — see the Cookie Policy below.
- Zippopotam.us / OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) / OSRM — if you use the estimate calculator, your ZIP code is sent to these free, public mapping services to estimate driving distance. No name or contact information is included in that request.
Data Retention
Since submissions arrive as ordinary emails, they're kept for as long as we keep our email records — the same way any small business retains customer correspondence. Information saved in your browser's local storage stays there until you clear your browser data or ask us to help you remove it.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, at any time, by emailing vladdoty@icloud.com. You can also clear your browser's local storage yourself to remove the "remember me" sign-in on your device, and you can change your cookie preferences at any time from the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer.
Children's Information
Splash2You provides swim lessons for swimmers of all ages, including young children — but our website is built for parents and guardians to use on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this section and change the "Last updated" date above.

These terms govern your use of splash2you.com and any swim lesson booked through it. By booking a lesson or using this site, you agree to them. Splash2You is an independent, at-home swim instruction service owned and operated by Vlad Doty ("Splash2You," "we," "us"), based in Estero, Florida.
Who Can Book
You must be at least 18 years old, or the parent/legal guardian of the swimmer, to book a lesson. By booking for a minor, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to make decisions about their participation in swim instruction.
Our Services
Splash2You provides private, one-on-one (or small-group, by request) swim instruction at a client's home pool, a community pool, or our private pool location in Estero, depending on what's arranged at booking. Lesson rates, package pricing, and travel fees are shown on our Pricing and Packages sections and are current as of the date you book; we may update them going forward.
Assumption of Risk
By booking or allowing your swimmer to participate in a Splash2You lesson, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. You are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or water-comfort concerns that could affect your swimmer's lesson before it begins. We may ask you to sign a separate liability waiver and acknowledgment of risk before a swimmer's first lesson.
Scheduling, Cancellations & Refunds
Lessons are booked through our online calendar or by direct arrangement. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms — including our 24-hour notice policy — are set out in full in the Refund & Cancellation Policy below, which is part of these Terms.
Payment
Single lessons and custom-location bookings are invoiced or paid directly as arranged with us. Lesson packages purchased through the website are processed securely by Stripe. Prices include the base lesson rate; a travel fee may apply based on distance, as shown by our estimate calculator, unless the lesson is at our private pool location.
Conduct & Safety
We ask that a parent or responsible adult be present and reachable at the lesson location for swimmers under 18, unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance. We reserve the right to end a lesson early, or decline to provide further service, if we believe the pool environment is unsafe or if a client or swimmer's conduct puts our instructor or others at risk.
Intellectual Property
The content, design, and branding of splash2you.com belong to Splash2You. You're welcome to share links to the site, but please don't copy or republish our content without asking first.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Splash2You is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or participation in a lesson, beyond what is covered by any liability waiver you've signed and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Lee County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the site or book lessons after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Single Lessons
- 24+ hours' notice: reschedule or cancel at no charge.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: the lesson may be charged in full, since the time was reserved for your swimmer.
- No-shows: treated the same as a late cancellation.
- Weather or illness: if a lesson can't safely go ahead due to weather (e.g., lightning, unsafe pool temperature) or illness, we'll work with you to reschedule at no extra charge, regardless of notice given.
Lesson Packages (6 & 12-Lesson)
- Packages are purchased upfront at a discounted per-lesson rate and are intended to be used within a reasonable time of purchase (we ask that you complete a package within about 6 months of purchase, or reach out if you need more time — life happens).
- Unused lessons in a package can be refunded on request, at the single-lesson rate for any lessons already completed, with the remaining balance returned.
- Individual lessons within a package follow the same 24-hour cancellation/reschedule window as single lessons.
- Packages are for one swimmer and are not transferable to another family without checking with us first.
Custom-Location Invoices
Lessons booked through a custom invoice (for locations other than our private pool) follow the same 24-hour cancellation window. Since these are arranged individually, refund timing may vary slightly based on how payment was made — we'll always confirm the specifics with you in writing before your first lesson.
How to Cancel, Reschedule, or Request a Refund
Email vladdoty@icloud.com or call/text (704) 960-2562 as soon as you know you need to make a change. We'll always try to find a time that works before falling back on a cancellation fee.
